I wonder if this will be classified as terrorism?

The U.S. Army is investigating allegations that soldiers were attempting to poison the food supply at Fort Jackson in South Carolina.

The ongoing probe began two months ago, Chris Grey, a spokesman for the Army’s Criminal Investigation Division, told Fox News.

The Army is taking the allegations “extremely seriously,” Grey said, but so far, "there is no credible information to support the allegations."

The suspects were part of a Arabic translation program called "09 Lima" and use Arabic as their first language, two sources told Fox News. Another military source said they were Muslim.

Grey would not confirm or deny the sources’ information.

Yet there are people who contiunally think it is a good idea to keep recruiting these people to "help us".

    Pure insanity in my opinion.

For obvious reasons, I am purely a spectator on this one. Just wondering that if they are charged, how they will be prosecuted.

It has nothing to do with them being muslims, just like the shooting rampage at fort hood. Not one word on jihadist influences in the official report.

Didn't see any mention of skin tone in the article. I did happen to notice that they are allegedly muslim though.

Correct. It concerns their religion (ideology), not a race.

Stay safe and keep your eyes peeled Sergeant Major.

That would indicate to me they kept it quiet so they could investigate who else was involved.

    Um.....

    Jihadist = Muslim

It is BECAUSE they are Muslim that they are (allegedly) Jihadists.

The word "jihad" is arabic and alludes to the duty of every muslim to "struggle". Muslim apologists will tell you that the "struggle" is within, but having seen these folks up close and personal, I would disagree.

The term Jihad is usually used in fiqh manuals in reference to military combat.

The word fiqh is an Arabic term meaning "deep understanding" or "full comprehension". Technically it refers to the science of Islamic law extracted from detailed Islamic sources (which are studied in the principles of Islamic jurisprudence)--the process of gaining knowledge of Islam through jurisprudence, and the body of legal advisements so derived, is known as fiqh.

The historian Ibn Khaldun describes fiqh as "knowledge of the rules of God which concern the actions of persons who own themselves bound to obey the law respecting what is required (wajib), forbidden (haraam), recommended (mandūb), disapproved (makruh) or merely permitted (mubah)".

So in Islam fiqh gives the "deep understanding" that jihad is holy war to promote the expansion of islam, but can mean a personal struggle.

I would like to think that was the case, but it is just as likely it was kept quiet so nobody would find out about it.

Besides after they lawyered up it is highly unlikely that any useful information was obtained.

I think we should keep shoving bacon in their mouths until they choke to death. That is how I would deal with all these POS dirtbags.
