    Hello,

I recently purchased a Gen4 Glock19. The store I bought it at was out of OEM magazines and suggested Pmags. I bought 3 for 60(ish)$ where OEMs(if available) would have been 90(ish).

I went looking on line and found mostly positive reviews for the Glock17 Pmags but can't find anything on the 19 magazines.

Do any of you use them? What is your experience with them?

    Thank you

I use GL9 pmags for my G19. I haven't had any issues with them for range mags. I have 4 pmags and 4 OEM mags. No perceived issues with either. I think they are a good value and have worked well for me.

I've been using them in a 17 for over a year. They run just fine and cost a lot less than factory mags.

I have both 19&17 pmags and have yet to have any issues running them in uspsa dropping into sand on rocks etc. I got mine on sale for as little as $12. They should never be more than about $16. OEM lately unless you get lucky are getting close to 30 each so while I understand using OEM for serious stuff ( carry/home defense) for routine shooting the magpul are just fine

Unfortunately the 17 round Magazines are unavailable to me. I live in Colorado where all I seem to be able to find for a Glock 17 is a 10 round magazine.

Why buy 17 and only carry 10 rounds when I can buy a 19 and carry 15?

I use them all the time, and haven't seen a single issue in thousands and thousands of rounds. But unfortunately you grossly overpaid.

Have you tried mail order for mags? Natchez Supply has Glock mags at pretty low cost. I bought 5 Glock 19 factory mags for $19.00 each.

I use P Mags all the time in my Gen4 G17 and actually prefer them to the OEM ones. The P Mags are just as reliable and a lot easier to disassemble for cleaning.

I've used them in my G 17 and 21SF and no issue. And I fired as rapidly as possible a few times not considering accuracy at at as I have a mountain for a back stop. I was just trying to cause a hiccup. I do carry factory for EDC but if the others were all I had I would carry without a worry in the world

I have three of them and they are excellent! About $16 each. Have had no issues with them. Elite Tactical Systems also makes excellent magazines for about the same price.

The 19 ones had some issues when they first came out which magpul quickly fixed....even if someone were to somehow get one of these bad ones I think magpul will send you the parts to fix it for free.

Aside from that they are good to go. Id still get a couple factories if I wanted to use the gun for SD or carry though....I like to stick with factory stuff in those situations....

I agree. He could have bought Glock OEM mags for what he paid for the Pmags. Their on sale at many different vendors.
