Just got through installing "The Plug" into the bottom grip frame of my "New" (to me) G-20.
Why is it that Glock ships a firearm with "missing" parts? From what I understand, Glocks do not come with a plug to cover up the hole behind the magazine well.
This is my first Glock, and I know that there is a reason for it-I just don't know it??:dunno:

You are correct, there is a reason behind the open bottom, it is twofold:
1 This is a direct channel to allow debris and other contaminants to fall from the trigger housing.
2 If you magazine becomes stuck you can insert your thumb into the hole and use your index finger on the front of the mag. A sharp pull from this position will dislodge the mag.
