This has been driving me crazy. Several years ago, I saw this movie in the middle of the night when I couldn't sleep and only caught about the last half so the details of the movie will be pretty fuzzy.

Here is what I remember of the plot: When I tuned in, there were several Texas law men chasing a band of fugitives down the highway through west Texas. The fugitives got away. Later on, the Sheriff unknowingly stops the bad guys' car while he has his teenage/early twenties daughter with him. The sheriff ends up getting killed with a sawed off shotgun during the stop and they kidnap his daughter. Some guy in a souped up car, along with a wounded deputy who carried a pair of Colt Pythons end up tracking the fugitives into New Mexico where they rescue the girl. I think the deputy ends up getting killed somehow and the sheriffs daughter ends up with the other guy.

The only other helpful thing I remember is that the movie appeared to be from the late 80s-early 90s. I don't think there were any big name actors in it, so I suspect it was a B movie. Other than that, I don't remember much. Sorry I can't give more details.

Does any movie you have seen sound even remotely like this?

I wish I could tell you. I could have sworn that the deputy who carried the Pythons was played by David Arquette (it's not Scream) but I can't find any movie like this with him in it.

Yeah, that's it. Thanks. This is why I continue to hang out on Glock Talk; no matter what question you ask, someone will almost always have the answer or know where to find it.

No, I think the car was a Pontiac GTO or something similar.
