Sounds like an excellent choice to me for a nice low power practice round. Use an OAL of 1.135 inches. If you have a chamber gauge, check each round. If not, take the barrel out of your pistol and barrel check each round. I use a Lee factory crimp die to insure proper sizing.

Sounds like a good load - I'm using 165 FMJ & 5.4 WW231 in my Glocks, and have not had any problems.

Make sure you have adequate crimp on those 180's, though!! You DON'T want setback to happen - it WILL ruin your day (& Glock:(

I use 5.5 grains of Winchester W231 pushing a Rainier 155-grain FPJ in various cases. I guage check each and every case to catch mistakes. My cartridge OAL is 1.1270".

I chronoed this out of my Glock 27 at 931.10 fps.

    Good luck!!
