    Attention All Glock Shooters
If you need a place to practice anytime of the year and enjoy a friendly range to shoot at, don't pass up Tom Hughe's range in Hinton, OK. In addition to having a modern, clean and well lighted range, Tom has a full assortment of reloading and shooting supplies including a full house of Glocks.

I "HIGHLY" recommend everyone to visit Tom that is near or going by his range. If you do, you'll come back.

    Thanks and good luck, Tom.

Actually, now that I think about it Oklahoma really needs to have a GSSF match. What does it take for a club to sponsor an event, Have they ever considered Red Castle up here in Tulsa. There is plenty of lodging around and Im sure they would welcome such an event. I've been wanting to attend an event and actually see thses people I've "heard" so much about.Yes, I know Dallas isnt but a 5 hour drive and Shreveport is 7, which seems to fall on the same weekend of my fathers B-day(which automatically knocks it out of the running.

    Thanks-Jeff

    Jeff,
Glock looks forward to developing new matches but they have certain requirements that must be met before they can plan a new location. Some of those could be:
    1. The amount of RO help available
    2. Range equipment like plate racks and/or pepper poppers
    3. An available date for the shoot to be sponsored

I agree, a shoot in Oklahoma seems logical. For more information and to get the ball rolling, contact either Scott Gilbertson or Chris Edwards at GSSF. You can call them at 770-432-1202 to discuss a possible new shoot and when it could be conducted.

Let us know how what you find.

    Best regards,
    Bobby Carver

    Hey Jeffro3006,

MDT here, did you sell your Garand at the "big show"? Hey, Red Castle might be good. Happy Hollow may be good too. Don is always on the range as RO. Also, may be easier to "reserve" the range for the shoot than RCGC. They do that on Saturday AM for their .22 matches.

    Just a thought.

Hope to see you all at the show this weekend (did you guys get a table?) or at the shop (Big Country).
