I know there used to be a thread a while back that folks here could post of places that had the 30.06 signs. I searched and couldn't find it. Also I'm tired right now after a long day so that could be a factor in it.

Anyway, I just noticed today that the Chuck E. Cheese in Waco is posted 30.06. Now I didn't have a ruler handy on me but the font that was used didn't look one inch tall. I didn't risk it so I returned to my vehicle and put my hardware in it and went back in. I would have refused to do business there but with my wife and three boys really wanting Chuck E. Cheese and us having coupons we went with it. Told my wife afterwards that I won't step foot in there anymore and that we will take our business to Peter Piper Pizza (I don't recall the 30.06 sign there) for future birthday parties and the sort.

So there is one place in Waco I won't be going back.

Hmm don't believe the C.C. (ugh that pizza sucks) has 30.06 here is south Texas, could be wrong. I have not seen a 30.06 sign in 6-7 years at least around here.

I'm not sure how long Chuck E Cheese has had the sign. The first couple of times we went there I didn't see one. Just got lucky that I saw it this time. I had to read it a couple of times to make my brain comprehend what I was seeing.

If it's posted, don't carry there. Trying to find and excuse to do what you already know the property owner doesn't want isn't exactly a winning plan A.

Thanks, I didn't even know about that site. Looked up Waco and there are only a few listed. I know of a few more that I might need to get added.

Any and all Cash America Pawn shops have 30.06 signs. Some stupidly have them posted at the back of the store.

Yeah. . . you can't exactly tell 3 boys you're going to Chuck E. Cheez, park the car, walk right up to the front door, and then say, "Oh sorry kids, we're not going to Chuck E. Cheez after all!" You'd have a mutiny on your hands.

You might want to give Twin Peaks a miss, too.

I have never seen such a sign here in VT - not even at the Post Office.

I do not think a sign is needed at the Post Office. I believe carrying a concealed handgun into the Post Office is covered by a statute that does not require a sign.

My local Chucky Cheese is posted. The sign is about the size of paper 8.5x11

    No way it is legal.

I travel to Texas often, Frisco and Corpus areas to be precise, and the number of 30.06 and 30.07 signs have exploded over the past year.

If you haven't already, you need to go the the Frisco gun club.

One reason for the explosion is the open carry law. Before it, most businesses were fine with concealed carry. Now they are nixing all forms of carry. Its just one of the unintended consequences of open carry------a stupid move on many levels IMHO.

I am of the belief that places can post only to prevent openly carrying but I wonder if some do not know that. I am guessing selling them two signs is more profitable than one sign.

I am seeing 30.06 signs that were posted alongside 30.07 signs the first of the year start coming down in the Houston area. We had an explosion right after open carry was legal, and now several places that had both have removed the 30.06.

    Hope the trend continues.
