Pittsburgh Pa Motor Officers...

    This morning, I was in the city, and the conditions are still bad.

    Neighborhood streets still have not been plowed.
    Snow removal is being done with front-end loaders.
    National Guard is assisting Police and EMS with their Hummers.
    2-4 inches of slush, and standing water on the roads.
    26 degrees, and light snow coming down.

    What do I see?? A Motor Officer riding down Carson Street near the West End Bridge.

    He did have a sidecar.:wavey:

    Motors guys are a little bit crazy period.

    Yup, our guys and University of Pittsburgh PD's cycles ride year round. And that's reason 458 while I'd never put in for it.

    they have been doing that since i was a kid there in the 50 s and 60 s. all motor officers are a little touched

    Yup I rememeber seeing them riding one evening going to a Earth Wind and Fire concert with 5 inches of snow on the ground I as doing doughnuts in my Scout II in a vacant parking lot near the Civic arena and two came up in Harleys withside cars and BSed with me told me to be carefull..
