Pictures

    Ok. This is my first attempt at taking a picture from an artistic viewpoint.

    I used our digital Fujifilm S5000 on auto. I don't know how to do the P S A stuff yet. I want to learn, it just seems like so much information - I'll need a notebook or something.

    Anyway, we had a storm come through here this afternoon and I took pictures of raindrops coming down from the windchimes.

    That's very nice. The first one has nice streaks of water, but the bright and flat lighting from the flash takes away the mood. The second one has the mood, but perhaps not enough information in the foreground. There might be a perfect blend of the two somewhere.

    I do like the misty background in the second.

    Thanks. I really need to read up on taking pictures outside of the auto mode. I didn't want to use the flash, but was concerned that the picture would be out of focus, which tends to happen to me using the auto mode.

    I'll get it down one of these days. :)
