    Hello friends of the 10-Ring!

I finally picked up my G40 MOS today. Not only did I take a few stock photos but also dropped in my KKM 6" barrel, test fitted my TLR-1 onto the pistol and "perched" the Burris Fastfire 3 on the pistol (to see what it will look like once I put it on). I also have some case support pictures although I was hurried so some of the macro shots were blurred .. you get the idea. Case support is what I would call totally acceptable and similar to my G20SF or maybe a bit better. Totally good for 13.0gr AA9 under a 200gr XTP that runs 1200-1225 from a G20SF.... full power stuff, no problem. My KKM will be the primary barrel used, however, since its 100% reliable and I already have it. :)

Enjoy.... (sorry for the messy car and pic background but these are priority pictures and must be shared ASAP!)

I'm a little jealous, but not too much! I should be picking mine up Saturday or Monday! Already loading for it so I'm ready to go!

So the 6" KKM barrel that I have in my G20SF can be used in the new G40 with no issues? Sorry if this has already been established but I've been involved in other projects and I'm now coming around to wanting a G40.

Yes it will work perfectly. I think mine fits better in my G40 than my G20. :)

    Looking good... longer!
Any problems mounting the Burris? Were you able to use the Burris supplied mounting screws? Thanks

Thanks and NOPE.... They are too big for the mount holes, which I thought was strange and disappointing - until I used the short screw "(spare eplacements") Glock included and they cinched down vault-tight and to which I added a drop of blue loctite to each.

Seems super solid. I'll report back after shooting.

    Tha
Thanks. I mounted a Fastfire II. I used the slide plate screws instead of the shorter "extra" screws. Seems to work ok as well. When I called Glock CS and inquired if they had any suggestions regarding the screws for the Burris the guy told me to get a different optic. ??? I like mine set up this way and it is a sweet shooter. Thanks for posting your pics.
