For those that didn't see my thread from last week I found a deal on a used G19. Picked it up from my FFL on Tuesday and promptly took it to the range. Put 100 rounds of Remington UMC FMJ down the range without one hiccup. Wish I had time for more, but it will have to wait for this weekend. This is my first handgun and I think I picked a good one. Deal recap below...

    Gen 3 G19 Mfr date Oct '09
    3 15rd Mags
Trijicon Night sites Mfr. '09 (yellow rear, green frnt)
    Glock Light (no laser)
    Extended Slide Release
    Grip Plug
3.5# Connector and .25 trigger job
    Done Hume IWB Holster
All Original Parts, box, Glock armorers tool, etc.
    Cost: 475 shipped

Excuse the lack of focus in some of the pics. Can't find the charger for my Nikon DSLR. Used a Canon p+s for these.

Thanks! I was planning on upgrading parts such as slide realease and night sights, but this has all of that. Any other upgrades for performance or reliability I should look into?

Congrats on the G19 excellent choice, the only thing that I will do is install back the stock connector (5 pounds) and remove the grip plug, the Don Hume Holster is the same that I use, I do carry me extra mag in a Fobus single mag carrier.

Just picked up a Blue Label G19 today, traded my other one off in a moment of monumental stupidity. Longest 3 weeks of my life. Now to reload a BUNCH of ammo for Monday at the range.

I'm assuming you mean in the dark. I can definitely take a picture for you. Should be able to have it up tomorrow in this thread.

    Hey Tango,

This is right now primarily a range and night stand gun since I don't have my ccw yet. Does that change your opinion on putting the connector back to stock? To me, it doesn't feel all that much lighter than the stock 19 I rented at the range. Also, grip plug a personal preference or is there a reason? Thanks for your suggestions!

This is the best I could do. Hard to get a non-blurry pic in total darkness! I like the sights. I do feel like the rear dots could be a little brighter. But, that may aid in focusing on the front sight.

Thanks for the pic. I agree that the rear sights could be a bit darker. I might go with green front and green rear. I am going to a gun show tomorrow too look at different sites when i visit the www.myglockdoc.com booth. Might get a few more goodies while i am there.

    Thanks again
