I just picked up the French MAB PA-15 I won off Gunbroker a couple weeks back. Its an early model. The early models were blued, while the more common later models were parkerized. Its an interesting design with its rotating barrel. The PA-15 is SAO. Introduced in the mid 60's, it was the first 9mm pistol to hold more rounds than the Hi-Power, hence the name. I've wanted one of these for my 9mm collection for a looong time now and was waiting for the right one to come along. They're rare guns and even rarer with a blued finish. In this condition, they're almost non-existent. The gun is like brand new right down to the grips. I've got the box and papers as well. Anyway, enjoy these pics of a very unique pistol. I really like the way they look, to say the least. They remind me of a Hi-Power, but with a slight exotic flair. Construction is all steel and it weighs 41oz unloaded, so its a big, hefty pistol. I'm very impressed with the trigger and the incredibly high quality feel to the pistol in general. The sights on the MAB are small, so its not uncommon to see them with larger aftermarket sights. However this is 100% original, which is just the way I like my stuff. Its the first firearm from France that I've ever owned, now that I think about it. I know fnfalman has one. Anybody else? Thoughts?
