    Hi all,

I'm trying to decide what aftermarket sights I should get for my G19. It will be used as a CCW and IDPA. If people could post pictures of their Glocks (G19s preferably, but not necessary), that would really help me decide.

Please also include what you like and don't like about them. Thanks!

sorry no pics (My digital camera is out of battery power:upeyes: )

But I just recently had MeproLight (GRN/GRN) Night Sights installed on my G17 and I absolutly love them. I think there brighter and better than Trijicons; plus the white dots don't wear off like on the Trijicons.

Theres also alot of information on the Sights/Optics forum to help you with your decesion. Just do a search and you'll find a load of good information.

    Hope this helps

I have XS Big Dot sights on three of my Glocks including my G23 that I use for IDPA. Below are a few pics of my G30 with the same sights, not the best pics but you get the idea. The XS sights are excellent combat sights and I shoot IDPA better with these sights that any others I have tried.

The meprolight sights are more solvent resistant than the trjicon (at least the white outline is more solvent resistant). The white outline is larger on the meprolights than the Trjicon.

I really liked the meprolight sights (dual color in my case) on my G23 until I installed some TFOs on my G17. The TFOs are easier to "pick-up" than the Meprolight/Trjicon type sights in every lighting condition. My only concern is the shortening of the sight radius on a pistol which already has a fairly small sight radius, such as the compact and subcompact pistols.

Some good Truglo TFO pics here.

I have Truglo Y/G on my 27 and the wife has G/G on her 26. They are excellent in the light or in the dark. Highly recommended.

Pulled it from my holster to take the pics and didn't bother to wipe it first.

I guess I'll have to invest in some Head and Shoulders. ;)

Probably need to. How else do you expect your Glocks to multiply if yours doesn't have his A game on?

I have an Ameriglo Operator front sight with a Heinie Slant Pro 8 on the rear of my G30. I'll post a pic tomorrow.

Is that the "straight eight" one? I'd really like some firsthand feedback on that one. I'm so far leaning towards it. I'll keep my eye out for the pics of yours. This post is great for all of us who are in the market for sights. Please keep them coming!

Here are green/yellow TFO's on my G17. When it comes to the nightsight aspect of TFO's, they're as good or better than the other brands out there(mep, trij, etc). But where they really shine(no pun intended) is the fiber optics. They're extremely bright and easy to see in daylight.

How much do these sights cost and where can I get them? I was going to get a three dot set up but i prefer a dot the "i" setup like the one pictured.
