...and today cannot go by any slower. It's been 9 days and tomorrow I can pick up my G17 and my wife will picking up her G19, her first handgun. Is anyone else going through this? All I can do is look at all the Glocks on here and drool until I can pick mine up. :impatient:

YES I have 25 days in. NJ takes around 30 days, and we can only buy 1 a month.

+1 on the walk in and walk out with it. Concealed Weapons Permit, no 1 per month, etc.. in Florida.

In Illinois you need FOID card first(3to4) weeks, then you can buy, but there's a 3 day background check until pickup. No cc here unless law enforcement,or gangbanger.Rediculous laws!

Same here in NJ. You have to be a cop or a criminal to carry a gun

10 day waiting periods doesn't stop crime.

    Can anyone say: "INFRINGEMENT?"

    Law abiding people defending themself.

Arizona, show Az. Drivers license, fill out paper work, back ground check done on-line, Pay for gun, extra mags and ammo then walk out and go shoot. About 1 hour from when you decide to buy the gun you are shooting.:tongueout:

Good question. If I didn't own a business here I would be out of Jersey so fast I would leave a vapor trail. My business is only a mile from my house.

Yeah I just went through that crap. They had to older my G32 and it took 2 weeks because it was OD. Then once they got it the 7 day cool down period started. So I finally goto pick it up and they say "Do you get us your gun training cert. #?"....me uhhhhh what?. So I gave it too them, then they tell me, "ok, well it will be a week from now." GRRRR. Finally last friday I picked it up...

I hate waiting for stuff I buy... :)

I sympathize. My wife and I got our Glocks and then Christmas and then record-breaking snows set in. We still haven't been able to shoot them yet. Aarrrghh.

    Two suggestions...

    1. Move out of CA, that should be obvious by now.
    2. Take pics! =D

I miss my broncos, I am in UT now:crying:.

But we have the same laws here in UT. I bought my first gun 2 weeks ago... walked in, and 10 minutes later I was out the door with my brand new G17 :D
