If you were sitting in Dr Brown's DeLorean and you knew it was up for only one more trip trip, what time would you set? Why would you pick that time?

Maybe you could pick a favorite time to relive or pick a time to be able to once again enjoy a life with someone, or maybe you could redeem a mistake that has haunted you.

The 80's were the peak of civilization.

If the trunk of that car was full of cash then anytime would be a good time, without it your no better off.

Partner, if you can't think of a time in your life where things were better and happier without money being the only reason for it, I wonder if you have given the question much thought?

Anytime before Bill and Hillary lived in the White House would be nice.

I have no information about the future so that is hard to pick. Everything I know about the past tells me this is a good time to live in. How about times to visit? That could be very interesting. Even a non historian should be able to think of interesting times.

Things get better every day. I would never go back permanently. Now if I could go back to high school knowing what I know now, I’d do it.

Selfishly I'd go back to my senior year where I hardly had any priorities except school and 2-3 years after that where I sowed my oats if you will.

My luck, the cash would be all new bills, printed this year, thus worthless in the past. Well if I could wait until this year came about, again.

My choice is after my youngest was born, or better, conceived, then changing the timeline would be ok. If prior to that time, good chance they would not be conceived.

How far back can we go? I would go back and meet Jesus.

If it can only be in our lifetime, I would go back to my cheerleading days at UGA. My years in Athens were my fave.

Late 50's - the early 60's...being a kid messing around on the farm where my mom was raised... Not a care in the world.... except scraping up change for .22 ammo...if you didn't have it, there was the BB gun...

    July 4th 1994.

A family reunion, and a Scrabble game with my aunt, uncle and dad, all gone now. Everybody was healthy, and my dad and uncle were in rare form. We all laughed so much I was hurting when I went to stand up.

There are tons of other great times I could go back to, and tons of great times ahead, but that seemingly unremarkable couple of hours are worth gold to me these days.

On a personal level, I'm good with where I'm at. Like they say, there's no time like the present.

To be honest though, I thought about monetary opportunity first. To be aware before the crash around 2008, or when Bitcoin was still less than a penny a bitcoin.

But...09-01-01 comes to mind. Maybe the Towers would still be up.

Or 11-07-41. Maybe Pearl Harbor would have turned out differently (probably not for that instance).

    Who knows?

My grandmother was a reader, and all 3 of her kids were readers. Not so much spellers. Plus, my dad and uncle were liable to go all Tom and Dickie Smothers at any time, sometimes the next player had to wait 10 minutes until the argument subsided.
