Looks kind of fake-- the lighting on the man and woman is totally different (I think that's what you alluding too, at least). They need to get some a Reuters photo-journalists to show them how to make more realistic looking photoshopped images. :)

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! Photoshoping is not the same thing as photojournalism.

There was an enormous photo on the front page of the paper here a few years ago. It was an awesome PS job but it was posed, faked and chopped. Then presented as real. I sent a lengthly email to the editor over that.

Photoshoping has it''s place but not trying to be passed off like this shot was.

So the guy looks out of place. What I don't understand is why would anyone bother to paste him in. It makes no difference whatsoever to the story. Again, why bother?

I thought we were talking about the terrible Quail Plumbing ad pic.

I'll go out on a limb here and say 'not shopped'. There's really no motivation, so to speak. Plus we're dealing with 300x200 pixel image here.... lots of things look goofy at that size. :)

Maybe he's just standing partially in the shade of that giant pine tree, and she's not.
