    Thanks guys!

It is a PAIN, to build I can tell ya that.
I screwed one up one time, and put the handle, (with the flat black filler in it already) in a huge shop vice, and Jumped all over that thing before it finally cracked and broke... Pretty cool stuff actually.

This is what it looks like, before it rots and the center wood core is mature and layin on the ground... Out here, it goes from about the diameter of my little finger, up to about 4" in diameter...

Posting these because the topic might be interesting to some, not because they're great pictures...

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lockport_Powerhouse

A couple years back I needed to make an emergency house-call to the this power station in Lockport, IL. The original generators were too big to move so they were "restored" (non-working). You can barely see the modern replacements in the back of the "long" pic...

Well I just got little hummingbird feeder and little birdbath set up yesterday. I just cleaned and changed the food to the proper mixture and then went back into my place to check GT and drink some coffee. So I wanted to go back outside and take a picture of the new set-up under the clouds. I then thought maybe I could get a quick picture of a hummingbird. Well I'm just using my iPad camera and no sooner was I under the tree, a hummer was buzzing by checking and protecting his new digs. Couple pics image.jpeg

Ok.... Deer track on the ranch.

    0505070917.jpg

2,000-ish year old deer track on the ranch

    82798.jpg

Found it in this part of one of the canyon fingers on the ranch.

    IMG_0200.jpg

Another view of where I found it... ( SEE BELOW PIC )

This is an Comanche burial spot. If you look real close, you can see some of the huge mega ton stones have heads like a bird or frogs and such.

The museum artifacts expert guy in Angelo, said the rock (above) with the deer track in it, is about 2k years old.

    Pretty dang cool !

After a hard rain ( rare) arrow heads, and spear heads etc, surface all over the place. I have found tomahawk heads on top of the ground before. I fisherman allowed to fish in the creek, slipped and almost fell when stepping on what he thought was a rock, but it was a (getting very broken down and crusty) Comanche female skull... There were hundreds, the y tell us, on this site about half way through the ranch

This is for Berto since he post pictures of bicycles. In the early 1990’s I got into cycling big time. Mountain biking and road biking. This is a picture of a mountain bike frame built by Serotta. If I remember correctly, Ben Serotta was his name. He built road bikes and built some for the 7-Eleven road bike race team, I think. Anyways, Serotta built some mountain bikes for a short period of time. I bought this one in the early 90’s.

That is an awesome picture. When you say "Over Lake Tahoe" what do you mean? Were you on top a nearby mountain? Minimalist for sure, but scores a big ten of getting the job done, nice perspective as well.
