Was he going to school in Columbia or something?
Windows? Who needs stinkin' windows?
Long story but he was working there for a few months. Something went wrong with the apartment he had lined up. Something about the contract between the owners and the management company so no one new was allowed in.
The Tuff Shed place was originally built as the living quarters for a security guard at an equipment-self storage yard. The yard was no longer in use. Someone arranged for him to use it a couple months.
You paid guys to move that stuff? I’ve moved more than that by myself.... geez... wife and I came from large families, we moved 4 or 5 households a year for years...
great shed though, I’d give my big toe on my right foot for one like...
My wife has more crap than that in her car. The rest is in here...
Has anyone mentioned how great of a clickbait title that was?
I didnt read the whole thread........yet....
My wife made the final run to the house late last night. She came back with some huge paintings that we put in the shed. We are now waiting for a representative of the house flippers to come to my house/our-residence so my wife can sign on the dotted line and turn her house over to the house flippers. She is going to come into a big chunk of change today. Better yet, the responsibility of that house will be out of our hair. We will soon be notifying the gas, electric, and water companies that they can turn off the utilities. No more paying people to trim the hedges, mow the grass and shovel the snow off the sidewalk. No Taxes and no insurance. That house was keeping my wife broke!
How dare she!!
What about their trunks.'08.
I don't understand "Jack Studs." My son is professional carpenter and keep four crews of men employed building high ends decks with fancy building on them. I sent my son a photograph of the interior and told him about the jack stud remarks. His response was, "It's just a shed! It will be fine the way it was built. They are just $hitting in your corn flakes and showing off what they know."
The shed is big enough and works. I'm happy.
Well yaaa!!! She inherited that junk from her grandmother so it is old.
It will be a sad moment for your wife when the final signature is made and that chapter of her life is closed.
I hope you are aware of this and give her time to process this before celebrating how happy you are.
That's not a shed, that's a guest house.
I had to look it up. Learned something there. I like learning stuff. BTW I was at Johnsons gun shop at 5:45 tonight.

Nice shed and congrats on her move!
Little by little you could start moving it all up to the 2nd floor and eventually have the entire main floor free for yourself/things.
Guess I came in too late. Stayed too long. My wife's shed is 10 X 20, one floor. She hires kids to clean it out almost every year. And then refills it with the stuff she sorted thru. Then buys more stuff and saves all the empty boxes.
I try never to go in there.......
One of my all time favorite quotes: "I hope you have a big trunk because I am puttin my bike in it."
