Phoenix cop faces charges for aggravated assault during on duty shooting

    I did a search and couldn't find this on here anywhere.

    Yes this is a news link and no I wasn't there, but this definitely sounds like a rouge cop who is going to pay for his poor choices for the rest of his life. His parter was the only witness to the shooting. The victim had no weapon and apparently there was no threat. Yikes

    Ok, so it was posted in CopTalk. You don't want the GNG gang hanging out in there.

    At any rate, that cops in big trouble. The officer with him (Virgillo) said the man was unarmed and no threat. The "pitbull" he shot was actually a boxer puppy which officer Virgillo said was barking but never threatened them.

    Some people just shouldn't be cops but sometimes they slip through the screening process or change over time.
