I'm looking to get a G26 to complement my G17. I think I'm going with the Gen4, my G17 is, but I would like to add the Pearce Grips as I can't get around not putting my pinky somewhere (even though it doesn't do anything). I was looking at the 5/8" extensions as I feel the 1" makes the G19 more sensical; the OEM extension is a little taller than the Pearce, here is the PG-2733 vs a G19 (http://i69.photobucket.com/albums/i57/bustedflush1/Glock Comparisons/19vs27PGheightcomparison.jpg). I also looked at the OEM 26+ 12round magazines but it's the same issue with the 1" extensions that make the G19 a better fit for me. I did some googling before asking here, do the PG-26 and PG-2733 work with the Gen4 26s? For those that say get the G19, I probably will as Glocks are like Pokemon.

I did just read this thread on the front page, http://www.glocktalk.com/threads/26-2-magazine-extensions.1611450/, about the extra capacity of the PGs.

On the Gen 4 26 the Pearce +0 is perfect. Doesn't add anything to the heel but gives you a full grip. I have them on all my 10 round magazines. I use the OEM 12rd rounds as backup when I carry the 26.
That's perfect. I just ask because I was looking on Amazon and it said the +0 PG-26 did not fit the Gen4s.

Any Pearce mag extension made for a 26/27/33 will work on any gen pistol as will the magazines....

However, they do have a specific one(pg26g4) that mimics the texture of the gen 4 gun...I personally like the look and feel of the pg2733 best and it will allow you to add a round as well although they say 2 rounds for 9mm...
