Well, this was my first GSSF meet, and I had an absolute blast. I have owned my G19 for a little over a month, and had never been to a range where I was allowed to shoot more than a double tap, so "rapid-fire" was a new concept to me. I think I did pretty good for my first time, but I was definitely disappointed in my 8 total misses on the day. We won't even talk about the plate that was left up!! :) Nothing more frustrating than one plate left and a locked back slide.

I was very impressed with how nice and helpfull the RO's were. The person on Glock-the-Plates even helped settle me down a little after leaving the plate standing on my first string. Also, I won the fun shoot pot on Sunday morning, so I was able to spend a little money in the club house. My Dad took videos of me shooting and I have attached the links below. Message to all of you coaches out there, go easy on me, I already realize that I was leaning backwards during my shooting, that is my first thing that I am going to work on. I am currently making plans to attend Shreveport and/or San Antonio.

The good folks in Carrollton run a good match. It has gotten better and better the past few years. By all means go the Shreveport and San Antonio. Nice folks at both places.

    WELCOME to GSSF!!!
