It sounds like you all are making a Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster.

    I'll have one too, please!

Nope, Perseid just got a hold of some Viagra, he's got a hot date with Venus. JK. Thanks WP for the heads up, I'll take a look later this evening from my patio. I will use my CANON 15x50 Image Stabilizing Binoculars and see what I can see.

Thanks, that site was quite helpful. I will also check my iPad apps "Go Sky Watch" and "Star Walk".

Negative human. You were visited that night. Your memory has been partially erased.

We hope you like your new probe. 5G WiFi comes standard.

Straight hydrazine for me. Add dioxygen difluoride for added zing.

You humans are safe from invasion. Too much political correctness. Earth is known as the “Planet of Sissies” around the galaxy.

Thanks for this, I went through the timeline and they say my area will have 'good' viewing for a couple of hours between 10PM and midnight. I will be watching then. Thanks again!

It was an amazing display when viewed from the California desert north of Lancaster on a predawn drive to Rogers dry lake and the NASA facilities up there. OMG it was STUNNING seeing streaks in a moonless, pitch black sky. It thought I was about to be struck.

If no one else is going to say it, I will.

You almost started your own meteor shower. Hahah :)

Jupiter and Saturn, in southern direction, are both still spectacular! I think persiods more rain in the north, but you can see them all over.

I go let dog out now and see if clear :)

Just remember, if the meteors look like this...remember to duck and cover.
