I am looking to purchase a new gun for shooting steel. My question is would a G19 with a lone wolf extended ported barrel (4.9 inches) be equally if not more accurate than a G17c with its 4.5 inch barrel?

Also, any pics of a G19 with an extended ported barrel would be much appreciated.

In my experience putting the ports further back, like the 23C I had, dampens muzzle flip more than having the ports on the muzzle end.

The barrels won't make any difference. The longer sight radius of the G17 will help you to be more accurate than the shorter sight radius of the G19.

The Glock 17C will have less recoil and shot flatter than the Glock 19 with extended ported barrel. However, if you get a Glock 19 and use a threaded barrel with a 4 port compensator it will has less recoil than the Glock 19C. As far as accuracy it is more on the shooter but the faster follow up shots and less recoil does help. Take the Glock 17C over the Glock 19 with extended ported barrel.

Sight Radius not barrel length to help you shoot more accurately.
