Ugly women like masks being worn.

What they dont realize that since you cant see their face, the only thing to judge them on is their weight.......

I can see that my sarcasm went unnoticed. Not too surprisingly. Few months ago when it came to any, serious medical issues the general advice from the GT community was to speak with your family doctor. I will adhere to this rule for the foreseeable future when it comes to COVID19 instead of listing to the home grown medical geniuses that lately populated this forum and many, many others.

They are now a fashion statement. Personally, I refuse to make this crap a fashion statement. I am lucky that I can be mask free almost 100%. I don't have to wear at work. Generally it's once a week at the grocery store. I buy less stuff to get out quicker. I don't go into any store now to look and possibly spend.

Agree. I’m a big advocate of real masks (N95 or better) and worn in a targeted and limited fashion. Anytime indoors with people around (for me that means in a grocery store). When I’m in my house, car, outside and not particularly close to anyone, no.

The country would be in better shape if people committed to more effective masks and wore them intelligently and effectively. This wearing of subpar masks, everywhere and incorrectly is really giving masks a bad name.

Well maybe your general physician is informed and maybe they aren't. I mean how much are you gonna learn in 6 months? They have opinions like everyone else and prior to March they weren't treating Patients for COVID. Trust him I guess if you want.

College of physicians and surgeons sure sounds more like an authority to me when it comes to a desease and prevention than a bunch of random folks on the gun forum.

Getting a knee injection tomorrow from my ortho. He doesn't know much about the virus. He reads the same thing random folks on gun forums do. Now I bet he can tell you a lot about insurance billing.

I find it hard to believe that wearing an N95 mask doesn't offer some degree of protection. I wear one if I have to be in proximity with another human indoors.
Fortunately, I only have to do that for a few minutes each week.
It's really not that big a sacrifice.

Appreciate it. It's relatively painless. They scope it, spray it with topical pain reliever and first shot is for pain and second shot is the lube. He has a steady hand. A boss gets the same thing from another guy and complains of pain. It's a 1X a year thing.

I'm still amazed at how many people that apparently didn't wipe their ass before all this started

I don’t have time right now to read the whole thread. I deal with the mask absurdities to the extent necessary - at work, to enter some stores. I don’t like it but I’m not going to get in a physical altercation with someone or lose my job over it. Not yet.

But what’s really - and I mean really - pissing me off, are the fashion masks. The brandname masks with logos, graphics, lace borders. A lot of women especially (shocker) have adopted it as a coordinated part of their wardrobe. They’re totally into it and they’re going to resist giving it up when everyone else gets fed up. Because it’s more real estate on their bodies for “fashion” to happen.

Am I the only one that enjoys all the people being pissed off?

Some are pissed at those who don't wear them. Some are pissed at those who do wear them. Some are pissed at where they wear them, like in a car. Now we have people REALLY pissed off if the masks is a "fashion mask".

This has become the best thing to come out of the bat soup croup conundrum.
