    I just saw this on the news and it's too bad, but the weapon had to come from somewhere.

    My BIG QUESTIONS are,

    Why was the gun traced beyond the FFL that last sold it?

    What were they looking for?

    What point were they trying to make?

    The search had no criminal evidentiary value, so why was it done?

    It's the same argument that we must destroy all cars recovered from crime...sure those cars would be used in crimes again.
