I just installed pearce floor plates on my 10 round glock 30 mags. I have to say that they make the feel of the gun much more comfortable and look really cool. After I installed the floor plates, I went though the paper work they came with and discovered that these plates don't come with a warranty. In fact it basically states "buyer beware" in a round about way. I am just wondering if anyone has had problems with these floor plates. I want to know if I can trust these things or not. I can't understand how a company can sell a product without backing it 100%!! Any info is greatly appreciated!!!;b

    Blind,

As with most things that are gun related it's, most likely, liability related. I have used the pierce floor plates on all my G30 mags, for several years. Never had a problem. In fact, I have them on my G27 as well.

I've used them on my G30 since they were first made available in 1997. Never a problem for me. I have 4.

I have Pearce floorplates on all my G30 ten round mags (eight of 'em), NEVER any problem with ANY of them.
They're a much better product than the Shearer.
They blend with the grip's "grenade" checkering, they don't let your little finger get pinched, and they don't break or slip.
    They're worth having.

Same here, I have them on my G30 and G27. I had them on my G36 before I gave it to my brother. I think they make all the difference in the world as I have very large hands. Love them. Very good customer service too. I called them a couple of times to ask a question or two and they couldn't of been more helpful. Eddie.

Got them on both my G30 mags. I like them. No problems. Bought a Sherer before, and didn't like it. Left too much gap between the base and the grip.

I bought two of them when I first purchased my G30 and for some reason they wouldn't allow the magazines to seat properly. I thought it was perhaps something I had done wrong but my friend/Glock owner/gunsmith confirmed that they were just too big. At least the store where I bought them took them back and I've been plenty happy with the stock 10 round magazines since then anyways.

I bought my G30 at a gun show. I picked up the gun and held it while at the vendor's booth. I told him the gun is great but it doesn't fit my hands too well. He motioned over to another vendor flexing his fingers and the guy bought over a Pearce floor plate and an extented plug for the rear.

The vendor I bought it from didn't have any of those. After he put both pieces on the gun felt great and I told him to phone the purchase in while I go to the other vendor and get 2 floor plates and that extented plug. Beeen happy every since.

I use Pearce floor plates on three G30 mags and five G26 mags. They work well for me. I have one Scherer (sp) and I do not like the size. It lives in a storage box.

i wish glock would make a compact model .45 so the ext's wouldn't be necessary.

I personally feel they are the floor plates Glock should make standard equipment on their 10 round mags. They match the grip frame perfectly and are more comfortable on the pinky finger than the stock floorplates. A must have for 10rd G30 mags IMO.

    Just my .02 worth,
