NO jelly, just smooth creamy peanut butter on both slices.
What brand? Yes, it matters.
The old stand-by.....when you just need something quick and simple to get out the door.
Used to call them "choke" sandwiches when I was a kid. No jam, jelly or fluff made a pretty sticky sandwich for sure.
I like peanut butter, but I always use strawberry jam or apple jelly to lube things up a little bit.

Jif peanut butter sammich and a glass of chocolate milk.
I still like a PB with jelly, or honey, or even mayo.
One of my favorites is a thick layer of Jif, sliced banana, and
mayo on the other slice of bread.

Actually Doc, yes. The little one wanted PBJ and as I was making hers, smell of peanutty goodness washed over my senses. I couldn't resist making myself double sided PB sammich
