    Any opinions? Good or bad?

I have the opportunity to trade a bow for one and really don't know much about them.

Good CCW guns? How thick are the grips? Are they like a G23 or G20?

I told the guy I would think about it for a few days so please help me out in deciding..

Anyone got any pictures of them? What about with a 20rd Pro mag in it?

I have a lot of pistols, but no 1911's and want to change that. So I am asking, should I get this one or wait for another one :dunno:

    I appreciate it!

Let's try something different on this thread too...don't just say "This product sucks" without giving an explanation to how you came to that conclusion. Thanks!

    Pro's/Con's?

    Thanks folks!

I honestly wouldn't recommend a Para for a first 1911. There are too many unconventional traits and I fundamentally refuse to accept a cast slide.

A little more explanation would be helpful!

    Thanks

Cast parts and below average quality overall.

Para isn't a favorite of mine.

That said, I do like the GI Expert in my avatar. However, I don't care at all for the double stack variety.

something like this one? i like mine. i replaced the mag springs with some wolff aftermarket springs which i am told caused most of the issues people have with these guns.

Double stack Paras are hit and miss with a ton of misses by my experiences. Couple that with Promag and you're likely to get burned. Neither is quality. If you need more explanations then look up PXT extractor on 1911forum. They tend to have proprietary designs that never work well.
