I didn’t know a thing about them either, but last week I was checking out my local pawn shop stops and ran across a P12. It was in excellent condition, with 3 factory mags, and case. I bought it. It looks good

I didn’t even know Para was out of business. Probably the best piece of info in this thread. I don’t think I would buy the gun due to that. But most here seem to like theirs. Thanks for all the replies.
