I'm always leaning low carb, but my wife LOVES good bread and I pass by these places in my daily travels...

I won't be going often so I'm asking this question so I'll get something real good...

I did take a few bites of their cinnamon/apple rolls once and they were exceptional...

Specifically the Black Bean soup in the bread bowl. Outstanding.

And Mild Bill, thanks for the Costa restaurant recommendation. My wife and her sister and husband loved it. We did the "Greek" specials (combos) instead of the Seafood Combo :)

There's a new Panera that just opened in Columbia, SC.

Next time I am in the 'hood I'll give it a try.

cheese danish is pretty good with a cup of their coffee.

i usually prefer sausage egg and cheese something or other but cheese danish and coffee will work in a pinch

Get a pesto fococcia. Make cheese sandwiches with sharp cheddar. Nuke 20-30 seconds.

+1 on the black bean soup - low fat too

I really like Panera. I went online and looked at their franchise requirements and saw something like $5million net worth requirement.

    Uhhh...guess not for me.;)
