Have a Kydex holster and want to get some pancake wings for it. Raven's look the best with their offsets but I'm still shopping etc, and I have a question about the sizes offered. While it's clear that the 1.25, 1.5, and 1.75 represent belt size, how close do they come to the actual size of the belt? I currently have two different sizes of belt I like to wear... 1.25 and 1.5... would 1.5" wings be noticably/functionally different on the smaller belt? I don't to buy two sets of wings if I don't have to.

Anyone faced with similar?

I alway's match the belt loops to the belt. Really like the Raven pancake wings, although I only use it on the rear with the standard front loop.

ok so I understand you... you leave the regular belt loop on the front of the holster and one pancake wing on the back end? Is that to pull the butt in tighter than the front? hmmm that might be worth checking out. Go ahead and send me the other wing and I'll try it out.... :whistling:

I just checked the prices on Raven. $20 bucks for a pair, ok... $10 more to ship for a total of $30?!?! no way. My Crown was only flat $5 to ship the entire holster.

Raven looks like they make good stuff, but 4 month turn around and ridiculous prices... they're insane.

Nifty looking idea, I'm sure they wouldn't work on my leather w belt loops though.
