    White bread
    Peanut butter on one side.
Unsalted butter on the other so the honey doesn't gt into the bread.
    Honey inbetween.
    Cold glass of milk.

Had it many times, but not with the butter, just the honey and PB.

Gotta put it on very light. It's only purpose is to keep the honey from soaking into the bread. Something my mom used to do for me.

When my dad was a kid his mom would mix PB and honey in a bowl and they would tear of chunks of bread to dip in it. When I was a kid I would mix it and put it in sandwich form.

When I lived in Mississippi during the early 70's our elementary school used to serve PB and honey sandwiches.

Sounds good, but try this: almond butter and honey. Preferably salted and raw, respectively.

For your road warriors, if you ever find yourself in the Detroit airport, there is a great place called PB&J's in the Northwest Terminal. You pick your type of bread, type of peanut butter, type of jelly, and add-on's (honey, bananas, marshmallows, etc.)

Makes a layover something to enjoy.

though this is not related directly to a peanut butter sandwich, I like m&m's and salted peanuts together its great for a road trip.A sweet and salted taste goes just right.Just my 2 cents on something different.

Whole wheat toast, fake butter, peanut butter, honey and cinnamon.

Google honey and cinnamon. You will see it cures everything.

I have been here! My husband and I paid nearly $5 for a PBJ without blinking an eye. OMG, it was worth it.
