I know not everyone here is a fan of paddle holsters, but sometimes they are just so convenient! I own three Comp-Tac paddles and really like them. Just curious if anyone here has both the Comp-Tac and a Vedder ProDraw paddle to give an opinion, or comparison?

I’ve got both. The Vedder is nicer and a bit more compact.

Thank you, which one keeps your pistol closest to your body? Looks like the Vedder is a two-piece holster, is it thicker?

The Comptac by a small margin. Yes the Vedder paddle attaches with screws and you can change the cant. About a 1/2 gap between holster and paddle.

I have Comptacs for most of my competition guns, but I am not a fan of paddles for ccw. I prefer the one piece Comptacs to the ones with screws. I'll have to look at a Vedder though, do like their stuff.
