Paddle Holster Advice.

I own IWB's and OWB's, but have never owned a Paddle.
I don't wear a holster all day, but when I run out to the store,
out with the dog at night, or travel, I like the versatility of
just sticking on a paddle and going.
I could use advice from some pards who have experience or
thoughts on paddles vs. the other two kinds. Pros and Cons.
Also some recommendations of holster makers who make a good
paddle. I like the looks of High Noon's paddle, but am open.
This will be for one of my Glocks. 17, 19, or 30.
Many thanks.

Fobus GL2 wil hold G17 and G19, very comfortable and cheap option!
I carry my model 22 in a Galco paddle holster and am very happy with it. I do not know what model it is, but it is plastic with a tension devise that holds the gun. No need for a belt (although a belt does make the set up more secore).
The paddle part goes inside the pants and a ridge grabs the pants securely. I have not had any problems with this. I have had it several years.
I like the fobus GL-2 also, easy on easy off. Holds the G-19 very secure.
I like the Fobus for just throwing it on, going to the mailbox or whatever. You could start with that and if you find that you like the utility of a paddle holster upgrade to something fancier.
Me too on the Fobus. I've got them for just about everything I own. Cheap and easy to use.

And best of all, everybody like to bash them. I use them on guns that I use WD-40 on too.

Flame on!!!:rofl::wavey:
Buy a Blackhawk Serpa CQC, comes with both OWB and Paddle.

 Very well written, +1 on the WD-40. I can feel the heat coming...:tongueout:
Fobus for me.

Nice rig. Safari Laminate, suede lined, looks like black leather.

I have two for different guns.

This.
I'm probably a minority here, but I do like the Fobus. it is plain rugged as heck and simple. When i do want a leather belt holster I use a Don Hume JIT slide.

Good Shooting

+1 for the Fobus! Absolutely love it. I sprayed some silicone spray in it, let it dry, and it's fantastic. Fairly cheap too. Check ebay.

You bet, silicone, or try Armor All some time. Man the gun stays in place well, but draws sooth as heck out of the little fobus.

Good shooting.

I use a Fobus for my G36 and really like it. Inexpensive, holds gun securely and safely, but maintains a quick draw.
Galco MX4 holster.

That is all you need to know.

Another vote for the fobus...Great with the 19.
Fobus GL-2 for me, also. It is very comfortable walking, in my car, everywhere. I can't imagine needing any other paddle holster. Dittos on the use of Armor All, great stuff, smooth draw but good stiction in the holster. I use it with my G32, same size as G19.
