I've got one in DA/SA with decocker. Anyone know if it's possible to convert it to single-action only?

I've got a SIG P220 SAO and in looking at it and comparing it to a standard DA/SA, my answer would be no. The slide and the frame are significantly different thus not lending themselves to conversion. Do yourself a favor and just sell the Compact and find a good used SAO. They can be had for a similar price as their DA/SA counterparts. You may even be able to find someone who is willing to do an even swap. Just my two cents. :wavey:

Just don't decock it and you'll have an SAO P220.
In trying to research this, I read where folks are doing this on DA/SA Sigs. Even the thought of it increased my blood pressure. More power to anyone who carries their Sig this way, but I'd be worried about a ND. My nervousness probably has more to do with actually seeing the hammer back and thinking "no external safety" than it is in in basis of fact, but I'd by lying if I didn't say it set my heart to racing.

I may be able to go DAK. I'm shooting an XD in competition, but I took my Compact out to shoot this last weekend as it's my EDC, and going from DA to SA threw me.

I know the remedy is to just shoot more, but I'd like to narrow my manual of arms.

I don't think you can either. Maybe instead of flipping off a safety like you normally would on a SAO, you can practice pulling back the hammer after you draw?
My problem isn't the DA pull so much as it's going from DA to SA. I've gotten too used to XD, Glock and my DAO S&W 37-2 triggers. I think DAK is my answer after doing more poking around.
