Can the gun be loaded/unloaded with the safety on?

Is up safe/down ready to fire? How is decocking accomplished?

Finally, is the detent good and stiff (i.e. no accidental change in position while holstered)?

Decocking is done like a 1911. As for your other questions got to sigforum.
