Owls are quite possibly the coolest birds out there. Did you get a load of those talons? Those could ruin your day for sure.

My old avatar was me holding one of those. It was huge, and weighed practically nothing.

At "1000 frames per Second" I doubt it was a "security" camera. . .

You could have titled this: "What's the last thing the bunny saw?"

The bird is wearing jesses, so it's a falconer's bird.

    This.

Looks like there was some sort of bait below the lens.

I love how it just gets closer and closer, but that face just never changes. It's almost comical. Reminds me of a part of Monty Python's Holy Grail where the guy is running from a far way off, they look away, and he's running the same, only substantially closer. Again and he's almost on them. Again and WHAM. He just had that same focus as a witty Brit.

flying towards the camera, feather coloration and location makes the owl look very canine like.

Your post (and the video, which is uber cool) reminded me of the "last great act of defiance" cartoon from way back in the day. Even though many others have copied the cartoon, its changed very little from its original look.

I found one here. Don't know if it's the original.
