Officer Andrew Ward, of the Tennessee Wildlife Resource Agency, and his wife, stopped by the Outback Steakhouse for dinner. Suddenly the manager came up and said she had received a complaint about his sidearm and asked him to put it in his truck. He was in uniform and told her that he would not, because the gun was part of his uniform. The manager stated that Outback was a gun free zone and asked him to leave. The liberal customer that started all of this said that she was afraid because cops shoot people and asked to be helped out of the building so as not to be shot. Outback has made an apology to Officer Ward, which he has accepted, and gave him a $100 girt card. The manager should have told the nut-job liberal customer to leave and let the officer and his wife have a peaceful meal together. I , for one, will not go to Outback Steakhouse anymore, I don't patronize known gun free zones.
