I've noticed that there are quite a few photography enthusiasts here! I'm a cinematographer by trade so I deal with movng images mainly. My wife though is a newbie food stylist/photographer. She started playing around with my Canon 300D around a year ago and has since upgraded to a 20D and a small home studio setup. I got her the equipment with the promise that she would get me a Kimber for Christmas! Anyway, check out her website and tell me what you guys think! And post your own photos on this thread narin pala!

Those are great pics! She has a good eye. She probably could freelance for some ad agencies or in-house ad departments of the big food producers. She uses the shallow depth-of-field well; however, in some instances she may need to use a deeper depth-of-field. Good luck!

Tacticalshot: Thanks! She's done some magazine work and a few menus since she started marketing her services. Even got her first billboard last month. If things go well, I'm getting a Kimber AND a Springfield this Christmas!

Riddler: Thanks din! I'm the lucky one who gets to finish off the leftovers after she shoots them!

AntiD: Paolo Dy is a very good friend! We went to the same film school in the US. Ask him about Tim. How do you know Paolo?

Ah, it's a joke, guys. Hmmm...just two responses. Maybe some BOGs DO know of orgy club in Manila.

Pao is my daughter's boyfriend. He is a non-gun-owning cinematographer. You and Pao should get together and produce an ACCURATE local action movie, showing how guns are really used. Well, sa bagay, even Hollywood and European movies are full of laughable gaffes about the use of guns, like the .45 cartridges that Erap used to fire which made the bad guys fly into the air.

The photos are very nicely done and they look mouth-watering. The web site, however, has to be scrolled from left to right when using a screen resolution of 800x600, as I do since I'm not getting any younger and the bigger fonts are easier on the eyes.

I'm not a big fan of the blurred background effect (as used in the taho, arancini, and tapioca pudding shots, among others), but as they say, art is subjective so that's just a personal preference. I also don't like the pesto salad shot because it looks dirty, but of course I know that the salad has to have spices/garnishing.

Just some added food for thought :)
