Okay, who's going? Feb 10 & 11.
DEJ/FL, Unclebob, and I will be there. Arriving on Friday afternoon and heading home sometime Sunday. We are staying here:
Hampton Inn Orlando-S. Of Universal Studios
7110 South Kirkman Road
Orlando, FL United States 32819
Phone: 1-407-345-1112 Fax: 1-407-352-6591
This "old boy" from Jacksonville will arrive Sunday morning, shooting MasterStock, UL and MajSub. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone.
I'll be there
I will still be recovering at home. Doc, told me no driving, no shooting, no dancing, no sex all for at least 6 to 8 weeks. So I will be missing a few more matches, just a few more.
Pete....from past post op...I would argue with two of your Doc's restrictions....I would think that you could at least do some dry firing...
Assuming everyone is well enough that my weekend pass isn't revoked, I'll be there.
So, who's shooting Wolf or Blazer?
JUST KIDDING. Winchester 100 packs are apparently the best deal I can get now on quality 9mm ammo, so that's most likely what I'll be shooting.
It's been years since I've practiced GSSF stages, so I expect to suck. Yeah, the excuses are starting early.
I have to agree with you only where I am right now guns are not allowed any more. (MOM's) I think because my doc. did not use any cements and only one screw that is his reason. I'll be ok just starting to go a little house crazy.
And the second restriction?
He did say "at moms"
I'm flying in Friday night, out Saturday night. Can anyone tell me if they will have any "practice" or "warmup" bays to excercise my trigger finger? I haven't gotten much trigger time lately.
I will be headed sown on Thursday and staying until Sunday. Disney on Friday, shoot on Saturday and head home on Sunday.
Blazer ammo here, plan on shooting a 17L, a 17 and either a 26 or a 30.
Yup...leave those girls alone ya'll poke yer eye out.
I guess you're still able to get it comparatively cheaply at Academy?
Blazer from Natchez is no longer the great deal it used to be.
It is under 6 a box and beats the WallyWorld price when you buy quantity. I have been trying to get a case every other week. Maystart getting some 40 and 45 if I can't get a gunshow deal on some.
I'll be heading up early Saturday morning to compete for the first time. I hope to finish competing in my 2 classes and head home Saturday night. Is this a possibility?
That should be do-able thing as long as the match runs smoothly.
I will be ROing on Saturday, look me up. I'll have on a "Team Carver Mounts" hat.
I will be there. (How can I not be, only live 30min. away.) This will be my first GSSF match as well as my first time doing any kind of competitive shooting. I am pre-registered to shoot Amateur Guardian (I'm a Paramedic) as well as shooting Amateur Comp. and Master Stock (figure I'll shoot as many divisions as I can because I'm eager to jump in with both feet.) Finally got some range time in this morning with some D-1 targets I bought to get a feel for them. Didn't do too bad, kept 98% of rounds in "A" and "B" ring at 15 yards with my 19. I'll be shooting Blazer 147gr. I've read the 147gr. 9mm is supposed to be better for the steel poppers, how true is that? Anyway hope to see ya there, I'll be the one with the bald head. (Hope it warms up a bit too.)
Tanya and I will be there. Looking forward to seeing everyone!
