Some mighty fine shootin.
Thanks to the entire GSSF Staff for your fantastic work during the hectic 2009-2010 season.
Wow, that's fast. I'd guessed the URL and have been hitting refresh every so often throughout the day.
Cool. I think my Daughter won the Top Female Junior. She actually got top Junior in Civ at #78. If that holds up she will be pretty proud of that.
It was a lot of fun.
I did better then I thought I would place at 36 which is ironic since I had 36 seconds of penalties.
If I hadn't shot all three steel on the first string of the Glock M I would have shot ~ 85 seconds which I would have been exstatic with. Instead I get a 105. Oh well still had fun and improved over last year by like 40 seconds.
Did your RO forget to ask "Do you understand the course of fire?" before you started shooting?
There appears to be an error in my scoring. Is there anyone specific I should talk to at GSSF to get it corrected?
Send an E-mail to email@example.com explaining the problem.
No he asked.
I was a victim of good timing. As I walked up to the M there was nobody there to shoot so I walked right up and shot. I hadn't shot the course since last Orlando and am just used to shooting all the targets since I normally shoot IDPA. Oh well next year I won't forget.
Just log onto www.gssfonline.com. Click on the "Match Results" page and near the top of the page is a statement:" In case of score errors send an email to and include your name, GSSF member number, shooter number and explain the problem". The GSSF email address listed in the statement is a hot link so if you double click on it you email form is already set up with there correct address. They do whatever it takes to correct all problems the can.
Thanks DannyR and Don at PC for the quick response. I suppose if it wasn't so late and I had been more thorough I would have found the answer sitting right there in front of me.... Funny, I also seem to have a problem finding the front site! :embarassed:
I looked at the prelims and was reminded once again that, indeed, I do suck at this game. It's fun though.
Is there an approximate amount of time until they usually become final? When they become final is that when they do the random drawings and such?
Your right Lethal... As a rule.
But the Veges match was the 23nd of Jan and there finals were posted 16 working days later.
Matt, there are a bunch of guys in the Panhandle area. Practice is good; maybe you can hook up with them or f you are close to Baldwin county, give me a shout.
Thanks for the offer Bama; I'm over in Tallahassee unfortunately, or I'd take you up on it. If that plate rack would just cooperate, maybe I could improve past my current ranking of "striving for mediocrity".
Well that puts you in range of the match in LA and the ones in GA and AL. Plenty of opportunities there.
