I was at a gun shop this weekend and got a look at Kahr pistols for the first time. I've been thinking about getting a G19 or G32 as a carry gun for some time but now that I've got a good look at Kahr's CW models I may have changed my mind.
Anyone have any first hand impressions on either the CW9 or CW45?

Thanks

can't speak to the CW45, but my CW9 has been flawless. It also conceals really well IWB. My only complaint is that the trigger is long and doesn't reset the same as my glocks. This sometimes causes me to short stroke the trigger when drilling.

I have both and love both. The CW9 is small, light, easy to carry, totally reliable. The same for the 45, though bigger and heavier. Still about the smallest and lightest 45 you can get. Both are very accurate. I like the triggers, being somewhat long and smooth. There's a little bit of a "surprise" when it releases, which for me, reduces the flinch factor.

With the CW 45, I initially had a magazine drop problem. There was trouble with some of the earlier magazine releases, where the catch was not quite long enough. Kahr sent me a new release straight away after I e-mailed them which was fairly easy to install, and it seems to have solved the problem.
