Been looking at the ameriglo front night sight as a middle ground between an expensive full night sight set vs. my stock plastic sights currently on my g19.

Any thoughts on the stock width front sight vs. the slighter thinner front sight?

It appears when I hold the gun out the front sight pretty much fills the entire gap in the rear sight so the question is what's better?

Centering a front sight that fills the rear sight almost completely?
Or is it better to have a slightly thinner front sight?

Keep in mind this question is more in context with the range/target shooting side of the equation.

Howdy,

I like a thinner front sight myself. I have a .093" Hi-Vis fiber optic front sight on my G35. I feel it helps for a more precise sight picture and smaller groups.
