Want to win a new Kreiger barrel, an 8-lb jug of Hodgdon/IMR powder, or Sierra Bullets?

Check out the Turkey SHOOT on www.6mmBR.com . (BTW that site has tons of info for guys into precision rifle shooting).

Better have a really accurate rifle though. The ten ring is .220" in diameter! Three shots on the Big Tom, and one shot each on the small silhouettes. All at 100 yards. Top 20 targets go into a lottery for the prizes. You can shoot any caliber up to .338 and use any rest, but no rail guns.

Go here for rules and to download fullsize .pdf target: http://www.6mmBR.com/turkeyshoot.html

A benchrest rifle without a normal/semi-normal human-interfacing stock. The barreled action sometimes rides on rails, and these are used to return it to exactly the same position for the next shot in this extremely competitive sport of shooting tiny shot groups in targets. Pics at link below.

Thanks for the pics and the info. Different strokes for different folks I guess. To me it seems like shooting a rail gun eliminates the human part of shooting. I mean the rifle buildup must be intense but then what? I dunno I suppose I am speakin only for myself on this one. It would be killer to be able to make .2 MOA groups though. Anyhow thanks for the info!

Yup. Not my cup of tea, either.
