Thanks for posting. Heart has been covering Led Zeppelin since the early 1970's nightclub scene, they released a CD a couple of years ago of Led zep songs. Ann Wilson has one of the greatest voices ever in rock, and Nancy is one of the greatest women acoustic guitarists.

It's more of a blanket than a cover, but I prefer this one...

You know, I was going to post some joke about how fat Robert Plant got on stage.

Then I started watching it all. WOW!

Very cool. Look at Page and Plant, it seems they are thinking, "Holy crap. These two babes could have pasted us on stage. We were SO LUCKY."

    Great job Wilson babes.

While I admire Heart (underrated in my book) and love LedZep -- I think that if the boys in that blues/rock band heard that in 1971 they'd laugh their *****'s off at the old people rocking to a choir and orchestra and proceed ASAP to find some groupies for a Whole Lotta Love.

Homogenized and pasteurized ... but I can see where some people would enjoy. (Namely my wife who grew up liking James Taylor, Carol King and the soft sounds of the 1970s)

Thanks for posting -- I'm headed off to dig out Led Zeppelin IV to clear the palette.

Dude. It's the Kennedy Center Honors, not the Rathskeller F-Yeah's.

I generally hate hearing recordings of live songs, and I generally hate hearing covers, that was pretty darn good.

I saw Heart live about three years ago and at the end of their show they did a couple of Zepplin covers and it was great. Anne's daughter was there too, she's really good. I wasn't expecting much but they put on a great show!

I was really getting into it, then saw Barry 0bama enjoying it as well, and I decided I hated it after all.

AGREED! I always thought it was blasphemy to try and cover a song like Stairway, but Heart did great. The other Zep tribute acts were great too. Here's the whole thing, with intro by Jack Black...

A shame we all have to get old. A nice tribute to my favorite band.
