So al of a sudden my new Mac will NOT connect to Google, in any form. Gmail, Google Earth.....nothing. It connects to all other sites fine.

It's doing it with both Safari and Firefox. My iPhone will connect to Google with no problem using the same connection (Wi-Fi). Also, my Windows machine is connecting to Goole using the same connection.

I did a ping test and it's not getting through.

Any ideas on how to get it working again?

    Thanks,

    Sam

Did *.google.com get added to your "restricted" list (or whatever mac calls it these days)? That's the only thing I can think of that would do it.

Granted, it has been a few years since I really messed w/ a mac.

I'm not sure what happened. I just ended up backing up a few things and reinstalling the OS.

    That fixed it.
