The town paper did a story on CCW permits in our county a few weeks ago and it stated that 14% or one out of every seven people in our county now has a CCW. I was impressed with the papers coverage and that they did not put a leftist spin on the article. I live in NW Pa and our crime rate is very low and any kind of gun violence is all most non-existent. If I had to guess I would say 90 to 95% of the homes in my county possess some type of firearm.

i wonder what that would do to a crime rate in a big city if the bad guys knew that one out of seven was armed.

Fantastic. Keep in mind that just because a person has a permit does not mean they carry.
