I have been wishing for a single carry gun. Currently I alternate between my G43 and G19, mostly depending on what I'm wearing. What I have wished for was a thinner, single-stack G19, basically a synthesis of the 19 and 43. Well, it appears someone other than Glock has built one. I'm not getting rid of my Glocks, but I am certainly willing to give some serious consideration to this gun as my one carry gun.

Out of curiosity, I went to the Les Baer website and cannot find the TRS.

Not really. I like Glocks, simple, dependable, and not too expensive. However... I am going to look hard at that PD10.

Hard to tell from the photo, but the spec sheet had size info. How much smaller than a 19 is it? I'm guessing thickness.

0.2 inches, which doesn't sound like much, but that is the difference between the G43 and G19, and let me tell you, when I'm sticking it down my pants, that is quite a lot. Now, admittedly, I'm on the husky side:)

Walher PPS(M1 or M2), or Taurus PT 111 G2 (Yes, Taurus! They hit a big home run with this model. And they work very well!).
While I do have a G43, they are just a might too small for my hands, and round capacity is low, IMHO. It is not my off duty carry choice. The PT 111 G2 is, and BtW I am a firm believer in and use Glocks. I have 9 Glocks. 1994 G12 2nd gen is my duty carry all day.
The PT 111 G2 has very good engineering in it; Glock striker system, Walther extractor system, XD like lower lockwork. I have one made in 2013 and it is a little rough in some spots, but has never failed and just chugs along. I purchased a new one made in 2016 and they are much nicer inside, as far as QC goes. Both just eat any 9mm ammo I put in them(save for steel case garbage, I don't abuse my pistols with that crud!), and they are about the same size as a S&W Shield, albbeit 1/8" thicker. Fully loaded:13 rounds. fit the hand really well and soft recoil. I highly recommend them for women who have never owned a Auto pistol and want a decent 9mm. Price is right, stainless slide is a little harder to find. I believe the blue version is coated, not blued, in something that walks and talks like SIG's Nitron. But that's a WAG.
Anyway, check them out. The PT 111 G2 is pretty neat, IMHO.

I would use the 10 round magazines in your G19 that have the same capacity and not pursue the one you are looking at. The Glock is a proven/reliable gun. The other one is a total unknown quantity for me to take a chance on.

I can also recommend the Walther PPS M2 as an option.

It is pretty much the same outline as a G19. The only difference is the width, 1 inch v. 1.2 inches, due to it being a single stack. It was designed around a 10-round 9mm 1911 magazine.

I have a SA 1911 in .45, but I'm not a big fan of a 1911 as a carry gun. I carried a gun professionally for a long time, and I just don't have the confidence in the 1911 platform. Things change, technology advances. When the 1911 became the Army's pistol of choice, the Ford Model T was the cutting edge of technology, and the standard infantry weapons was the Springfield 1908.

OP wants a single stack G19. Kahr TP9 is the only option. Stop recommending 1911s and $3000 guns.

Kahr seems to have the right idea. I'm going to wait until the gun I mentioned comes out; then I'll see what it's like.
