Alright, here's the situation: The wife and I sold the business up north to move down south and slow down. She's off to school in LA for a four months and I'm left to do the providin'. Needless to say, my gun stash has been seriously depleted in order to better provide for the family. Money/guns well-spent I say. Financial necessity has provided a golden opportunity with which to pare things down to a survival-mode minimum and learn a little more about myself as a man. For instance, I can only afford to own one handgun right now. It has to serve as my carry, range, and self-defense gun at an affordable price. And to my amusement... The Glock 23 has separated itself from everything else. I really respect the utilitarian functionality of this gun/caliber choice. It is truly the do-everything option...with a stronger lean on self-defense of course. What do y'all think?
