    I agree.

The closest Home Depot or Lowe’s to where I am right now is 215 miles, I am in the middle of South Dakota. Almost everyone drives a pick up around here

LOL well that's where being a famer and having a truck fits. Better make it a 2.5 ton truck.

He is not. He’s a Navajo Nation EMS Paramedic. He needs a 4x4 truck to get back to his house.

You could maybe take an Uber once in a while and still be way ahead $$ wise.

Maybe sign up for Uber or Lyft just so you have the option if something comes up and you really need to go someplace.

If the lease payment is $425 - add in insurance, license, fuel & maintenance - you will be $8-$10K a year. Buy a beater and you could get smacked with a $$ repair bill.

So you spend $500 on Uber a year - take the money you save and go on a vacation trip to someplace you both think is fun -

But on the other hand -- this is not what I do - :freak:

I still have my 2007 Tahoe Z71 4x4 - even though we take my wife's 2017 RDX almost every where - because we are together so much - once in a while I want to go someplace and my wife needs the RDX.

I was going to trade it off and get something else - like in 2012 and 2013 and 2014 and 2015 and 2016 and 2017 and 2018 and 2019 and still thinking about it once in a while -

But I am only putting 1,500 - 2,000 miles a year on it and it seems dumb to go buy a new Tahoe and have it sit in the driveway.

Depending on the grand-kids situation (at 2 now with possible #3 next year) I may dump the Tahoe for a Sienna. If the grand-kids thing stays at 2 I may keep the Tahoe - which just hit 48,000 the other day and still looks and runs like it did when I drove it off the lot.

Edit - will I have to change my GT name if I trade off the Z71 Tahoe for a minivan?

    SiennaBill just seems :aodnsb:
